Marloe: The (rentrée) beat goes on.
Another wonderful meal today at Eric Martin (L'Arome)'s second: Marloe in the 8th.
The welcome, decor, clientele, service, food and wine were superb (Randy's full experience); I had rillettes of pork, a Croque Monsieur (of all things) of Grandfather Leroy and a creme cafe that were outasight. My bill with a half bottle of wine, coffee and no bottled water was 54 E - beat that.

re: mangeur
"That sounds high to me" Are you kidding?
The "rillettes, a Croque and what I am guessing is a custard" were top of the line, the Croque like nothing I've ever had in almost 60 years, the creme divine and the cauliflower with the rillettes extraordinary. I challenge you, Mangeur, to find better food at a better price in the 8th, or anywhere for that matter.
"How much was the wine?" 24 E a bottle,
Don't knock it til you've tried it.
