My father (age 82) will be making a sentimental trip back to the Chicago from the San Diego area. Hehas a hankering for the city's best Cuban or Spanish food. thanks in advance.

I'd consider Vera for Spanish, as well.

      For Cuban I enjoy Cafe 28. http://www.cafe28.org/

90 Mile Cuban Cafe is popular; I enjoyed my dinner there but personally preferred Cafe 28: http://www.90milescubancafe.com/
