We want to take friends out and are new to this area. They like White Chocolate in North Scottsdale, to give you an idea of their taste. Any recs would be appreciated.
Spotted Donkey is a nice spot. Soi4 Thai is excellent over in the Gainey Shops. I don't think you can go wrong at Houston's or Veneto Trattoria. There are two excellent pizza spots: Humble Pie and Pomo. Blanco Tacos is a solid choice as well.
Spotted Donkey closed a few months ago. Grassroots is in that same plaza.
White Chocolate looks like run 'o the mill Steakhouse with some flare. Would definitely consider Davanti as exit2lef noted.
white chocolate was started by a bunch of Hillstone Group former manager/operators. They used alot of similar recipes and concepts. Not bad if you like Houstons.
I don't anything about White Chocolate, but Davanti Enoteca is near McCormick Ranch and quite good. It's in the old Quilted Bear location at Lincoln Dr. & Scottsdale Rd.
Grassroots Kitchen & Tap at Hayden and Via de Ventura. Great salads, sandwiches, and comfort food. Good food, interesting beer selection, and independently owned.
