In the news this morning - kamaaina price at Top of Waikiki; $29 for lobster dinner or 16 oz rib steak. Epires November 9th (?). Bring your ID.

    wow, thats a good deal if the quality is the same as the last two meals I had (one before the change in chef, one after.)

      Am wondering why not more enthusiastic responses at all. The demo food looks delish. Hopefully so is the quality - even if it isn't super good,, stiill good for the price at such a nice restaurant.

        fickle bunch in here when it comes to posts, never sure why, but they are mostly very good people.

          Maybe because it's not for tourists, but for the locals (aka "kamaaina"). If they do check ids, we Mainlanders couldn't get the discount.

            Although I now live here again, I'm not going to bother changing my driver's license until I have to. In the meantime, no kama'aina deals for me.
