Downtown Lunch

pcwd Oct 25, 2012 08:28 AM

I started working near the Staten Island Ferry terminal and I'm looking for new lunch places for informal meetings and catching up with friends. Somewhere with waiter service, but not fancy or expensive. I'm already burned out on the places on Stone Street, and I'm not a huge fan of the pub at Fraunces Tavern. I'm willing to walk as far north as Wall Street. Any suggestions?

Oy. Sorry, my downtown geography kinda' sucks. Well, if the poster needs a close-ish spot for dinner/drinks...

You could give Zigolini's a shot. I'm not their biggest fan, but its still a pretty good option in the area. Fika do good coffee and have sandwiches etc (might be a little informal for what you're after).

Harry's cafe is a little on the pricier side and is okay.

I'd also be interested in hearing whether there are any other reasonable places that chowhound'ers can suggest.
