Recommendations for bike trip (Delaware River towns)

I am taking a weekend for biking along the Delaware & Raritan towpath (& PA Canal). I would appreciate any recommendations for any meals. Breakfast and lunch preferably along the river, but with early sunset I'll drive to dinner either way.

I'm looking to stay between Milford, NJ and Lambertville/New Hope.

I will book accommodations by the weekend and would appreciate any advice there, too!

Frenchtown cafe is good.. six miles south of Milford. In Stockton, the Stockton Farmers market is open on weekends and has good bake goods and coffee. Across the street from it is LIly's which is a breakfast and lunch place.

In Lambertville, Full Moon Cafe does a great breakfast.

I am very fond of Ship Inn for lunch and dinner and Milford Oyster House for brunch and dinner.

Have a great trip... its a great ride, and a wonderful time of the year.

I don't think the Ship Inn serves breakfast. The Oyster House does not serve breakfast or lunch though it does offer a superb Sunday brunch.

I was going to suggest Miel's in Stockton but then remembered that this old standby closed in August. Sadly missed (that's where Lily's is now). Can you comment on Lily's? Do they not serve dinner?

Talked to a friend last night who told me that (a) the new place is called Lilly's Meals, (b) yes, they do serve dinner, and (c) it's pricey for what you get.

Lillys, the folks who own places in New Hope and Doylestown are priced high (but so was Miels). I have not eaten there since the change has occurred, but if the quality is anything like their other restaurants, it is worth considering.
