Private party lunch in midtown east on a budget

I am looking for suggestions for reasonably priced restaurants for a Christening lunch or brunch in Midtown East. Something fairly close to St. Pats is ideal. Early spring. Thanks!

P.J. Moran's, on 48th between 5th and Mad. is hardly spectacular, but it's certainly serviceable and can accommodate a group.
