Does anyone have a recipe for this???? Mt Grandmother used to make this for me and the recipe has been lost. It was the best chocolate cake in the whole world with the best butter cream frosting. Any help would appreciated!!!!!!!

I can't give you help, but you might want to contact the Washington Post which has been one of the major newspapers since the earlier McCarthy was a power. They also have a wonderful (or had) cooking section, and it might be in their archives.
