Pearl sugar's other uses?

I brought a bag of pearl sugar back from Belgium and my waffle iron has since broken. I'm contemplating getting another...but, in the meantime, what else would pearl sugar be good in? I sort of figure the texture of the pearl sugar would be odd if I just added it into muffins or something. Wondering/hoping someone has used it successfully in some other things!

How about using it in Ebelskivers or Poffertjes?

    1. Make pulla and sprinkle it on top!

      1. Top your scones, or cookies. It is a wonderful finishing sugar for any baked good.
