Thanx Goose near Portland

Any thoughts on where I could buy a goose, preferably fresh, for Thanksgiving in the Greater Portland area?

Did you find your goose? If so, where?
I'm hoping to find one for Christmas.

I didn't and finally opted for a great turkey. For Christmas, you shouldn't have too much of a problem. I know Rosemont has them fresh for $6.49#, Hannaford has them frozen for ALOT less. Turns out we will just be 2 for Christmas, so am getting a fresh duck from Whole Foods. Give them a call - they may be getting goose as well. Fresh duck price at WF was very good.

I'd try Pat's Meat Market. I'm pretty sure they can get you one www.patsmeatmarket.com

I would suggest asking Fresh Approach.

I do not have the smallest clue, but my best guess would be to ask at Rosemont.

I did, but will speak with someone a little more in the know. Thank you.
