Old Fashioned Salads Nassau/Suffolk

Only a few years ago, every town on LI had a few German style delis that sold good homemade potato salad, coleslaw, health salad etc. Now all the deli's have gone "gourmet" or sell the factory made Sally Sherman crap. Need help finding good old fashioned deli salads on LI.

Homestead Gourmet on Lefferts Blvd in Kew Gardens. One of the original German delis, dating back to the 60s. Salads haven't changed a bit since. Great cole slaw, German potato, health salads. Fabulous stuff.
