BYOs in Old City

I don't have much experience with the BYOs in Old City and was hoping my fellow Philly hounds could offer some insight? Thanks!

Hostaria da Elio is reliable and good.

Also not Old City but closer than Popolino. I agree that it is reliable and good, if unexciting.

How about La Locanda del Ghiottone?
        Fun place with good food.

Popolino's (Modo Mio's sister restaurant) is a BYOB and quite good. At 6th I think.

Popolino's has been getting very mixed reviews. 1 start from Leban and lots of people having issues with that restaurant. Caveat Emptor.

Popolino is OK. Kinda salty. Def not in Old City but not far. I like Radicchio much better.

Radicchio would be another option - haven't been there in a bit either.

Radicchio was good last year. I keep forgetting about them because of their location. But we had the grilled branzino and it was great.

It's been a while since I've been to Bistro 7, but it's always been very good. Uzu (sushi) and Chloe (New American) are also around there and BYO, I haven't been to either in years though.

I'm a big fan of Bistro 7 but the entrees are pricey. There's not too many byobs in Old City... Uzu is good but the space is so small if you're going with a bunch of people.

Bistro 7 is too pricey for this group (of 4). I forgot about Uzu! Thanks.

I really like Uzu. It is tiny, though.
