Ramen / Noodle House

Is this more of an LA thing or does San Fran have it's share of places like this? Should I wait until I hit LA again or are there any worth going to in SF?

There are plenty of ramen in the SF Bay Area. My favorite Ramen place in the South Bay is Maru Ichi in Mountain View off of Castro Street.
