3 New places opening in Mt Kisco+ 1 New Japenese

So driving around my area it dawned on me how many restaurants are in Mt Kisco! It's crazy! Within the last few months these places have been busy getting their restaurants open. It is nice to not have so many empty storefronts....So here are the ones that are in the process of opening soon:

1-A Steakhouse where the old Fish Cellar was

2-Next to the Little Kebab House they are opening a Creperie

3-Next to the new MK Tavern a Hellenic restaurant is to go there (that's like Greek food right?)

And next or near to that one Hitto Japenese Restaurant opened a few weeks ago.

Plus all the the other ones in Bedord Hills on 117 and all the rest in Mt. Kisco! I know the Jamacian restaurant didn't make it but the ethiopian is still there....Good food actaully.

At least this winter we will have our shares of where to go locally. I wonder if there's any other type of cuisine we are missing up here! Just wanted to put this on Chowhound.....

I read somewhere (could have been on these boards) that the steak place was going to be Blackstones, which is a pretty upscale chain in Long Island. The crepe place has the same owners as Little Kabab Station and Little Spice Bazaar and is going to be called Little Crepe Street, at least according to the article I read in the patch.....http://bedford.patch.com/articles/lit...

I haven't paid attention, but is Cafe of Love still open on Main St? Had a fabulous meal there about 4 months ago, and just haven't made it back. But the entire meal, food, service, ambience, was top drawer. Hope it's still there, will have to get back there in the next couple of weeks...

Oui it's still there. I went once awhile ago and enjoyed it. I t just seems The Village Social is taking over Mt Kisco. It's seems always packed in there and the other places not always so much. Where else have you been??

The the Crepe place take over the smelly cigar place next to LKH so I won't have to hold my nose as I walk by?

That's great news! I wonder how they managed to fumigate it to get rid of the smell?

No idea. Smoker's Harbor has been there forever.

Lefteris is pretty decent. Stick to the basics.
