Good morning everybody;

Very new at this site and I need some help my daughter is going to school in Philadelphia
and will not be coming home for Thanksgiving.What I need is some info on getting
Thanksgiving dinner delivered to her apartment or someplace where she can pick it up.

Thanks in advance
Dan

    Hi
    Thanks for the reply's to answers a few questions She does not have a car leaves in zip code 19103 near Race & 21st. I think the parade might be a problem with delivery but she has no problem getting around so pick up will be fine.

      Race and 21st is a very short walk to Whole Foods Callowhill (like 2 or 3 blocks away). I have had their Thanksgiving meals for the last 5 years or so and been very happy.

      As the holiday gets closer I am sure that they will update their website with meal possibilities.

      Both The Plough & The Stars (2nd & Chestnut) and McCormick and Schmidt's (Broad & Market) do reasonably-priced traditional Thanksgiving dinners.

      Either would have pick up available. Don't see the special menus up on either site yet.

        Does she have a car? What part of Philadelphia does she live in?

          If she has a bunch of friends, Percy St BBQ usually sells an entire cooked turkey with all the sides. If you just want a meal for one, your best bet might be to send her to a diner for takeout. What part of the city is she in?
