Lunch near Jacquemart Andre

ChinaCat Oct 17, 2012 01:54 PM

Is there a nice place for lunch within a 5-10 minute walk of the Musee Jacquemart Andre? Preferably someplace where a lunch reservation is not required, though I can certainly manage that if need be.

I have heard it has a nice lunch room inside, perhaps someone can confirm?

thanks everybody, this is just what I needed....reassurance that the cafe inside is good, but also a backup plan in case we don't get there in time. Perfect.

Not great food, not bad either. But great experience.

So much nicer to lunch inside Jacquemart-André. How often does one lunch underneath a Tiepolo? But get there by 12:15 latest.
Not sophisitcated dishes, but nice quiche and salad and nice pastries.

This is exactly the size and kind of lunch we look for. When combined with such ambiance, it's perfect.

Quite agree... it's the perfect place for a light lunch. It is however VERY popular and you should have a backup plan just in case.

Just down the street, Restaurant 154 Haussmann is quite delightful in a sleek and trendy way and presided over by an ultra-charming patronne. Cuisine is international with Thai (French style) and North African dishes offered along with French classics (excellent steak tartare!). It is incidentally a great place for breakfast or afternoon tea too.
