Last supper in Montreal

I am moving across the pond in 8 weeks. Where should I spend my last supper in this great food city? (went to APDC sugar shack's fall menu meal last week and Liverpool House next week). Keen to try the new Maison Publique as well.

Where would you go? Looking for a place that has a high montrealness (whatever that might mean for ya).

I would go to Maison Publique-I went there first time today. Great food, and very Montreal-as in meaty-despite the English gastropub imprimature. Chef was former chef from DNA. I was there for brunch, so I can't vouche for dinner, but a restaurant owner in Montreal assured me it's great.

Joe Beef or "Club Chasse et Peche" (or le Filet).

Where across the pond ? it might help removing suggestions you will find locally "there".

Good point Max - estilker, if you are moving to the UK, Maison Publique might be a little redundant, given what I have heard of the menu so far (eg Eton Mess!)

If you are moving to Italy, for example, I would recommend eating your fill of Szechuan food!
