Red Fish Grill

So Travel & Leisure named Redfish Grill one of the best seafood joints in the country. Haven't heard much about the place.
Is it deserving?

the bbq oysters w/ stilton dressing are one of my top apps in the city.

the double chocolate (milk & dark) bread pudding is a favorite as well.

...two awesome go-to dishes aint bad. the entrees i havent tried since the new menu, but they were "fine" before. good, better than most national slop.

I didn’t know you could buy a spot on T&Ls Top Restaurant lists.

T&L's credibility has gone down the drain with that one.

I believe they also listed Casamento's on their list.

The BBQ oysters are one of the best tastes in the city no question.

I did not know that either.

Had not seen this one, but in general, I agree with about 75% of T+L's recommendations, and especially for resorts and lodging.

Now, while I have not dined at Red Fish Grill, I do several of the Brennan family's other restaurants, and some great servers DO tout RFG. Not saying that they (and T+L) are wrong, but I just do not know.

I would not not eat there, but I don't think it is on anyones top 20 list for this city.

No, not deserving in the slightest. Its pretty good food in a great location, but its nothing to make a special trip for etc.
