a welcome addition to the scene around spitalfields.

I'd be interested to hear how both of you feel this spot compares to Fuchsia Dunlop's restaurant Bar Shu, and café Bar Shan since I seem to recall you'd both posted about those spots. (not stalking, just doing some research before posting some questions here earlier)

ha ha i'm sure its been mentioned here before! and breadcrumbs - i'd say its not as good as ba shan, and i cant really compare it to bar shu because i havent been there for a long time but i seem to remember reading that the sichuan folk chef used to work at bar shu?? its definitely cheaper than bar shu which is a bonus
