Boynton in Worcester or Cafe Expresso

My 89 year young Chowhound Mom wants to go to the Boynton. She has never been, I have not been in over 30 years. We would go early Friday night around 5:30. Is it worth the wait? We also loved Cafe Expresso so are toying with boy ideas. Comments on recent experiences.

I have always enjoyed the Boynton. It is comfy and inexpensive, with a varied menu and a competent kitchen staff. The free parking in their large rear lot is a plus.
