Singapore - Carnivore Brazilian churrascaria at MBS

This is strictly for meat-lovers who'd had enough of Singapore's street foods & Chinese food, and wanted to have their protein fix.

Carnivore's MBS outlet has a brighter, airier feel compared to its sister outlet in Vivocity, and the salad buffet spread seemed more "international".

The Brazilian passadors here looked familiar - some were probably alumnus from Rio Brasil Churrascaria in Sixth Avenue, which was the first to introduce Brazilian churrasco to Singaporeans when it opened nearly 2 decades ago.

The ubiquitous feijoada is there as part of the buffet - all-you-can-eat! It was pork heaven! Some standouts: beef tenderloin, bacon-wrapped chicken, cod-fish, pork sausages & the sweet grilled pineapples.

The only thing I thought was really missing were the pão de queijo.

  1. No pics of the passadors and the hunks of meat?

In my area the downtown Fogo de Chão (national chain) location is pretty popular. There are at least six churrascaria in Chicago, and that's omitting the more "normal" steakhouses of which there are MANY. :-)

I'd seen them too often to think of pointing my li'l digicam in their direction. But here's one of those who served us quite a bit today :-)
