My Food Obsession on The Cooking Channel

Why is a show about people addicted to vinegar or terrified by mayonnaise on the Cooking channel? When the Food Network bastardized their network with their faux chefs and endless hours after after of competition shows, at least we could say those shows were about food.

What does a hot sauce addiction to do with a cooking channel?

It's as if there's a new boss with a mission bring the network down.

When I saw this show on the guide channel I was wondering why it belonged there as well. I'm guessing that they are trying to draw the crowd that watches the weird addictions show on TLC.

I'll admit that I'm afraid of mayonnaise as well. I don't like to look at it, and I really, really can't stand touching it. When I make my husband chicken or egg salad I do pretty much everything possible to avoid getting it on my hands. This is semi-legitimate, since I am allergic to eggs.

However, I'm not sure how you would fill half of a half hour show with that...

That means I am free to watch a Chris K butcher a turkey with a chain saw (for the 2nd time today), or watch Halloween wars on the parent channel.

Next week's episode will be about 'My obsession with food forums ...'
