Looking for no-grain substitute for lox/cream cheese meal!

I'm under doctor's orders to abstain from grains and eat as many omega-3s as I possibly can - I immediately thought of lox, but eating it plain just doesn't do it for me. Anyone have ideas for a no-grain bagel/cracker substitute? Maybe kohlrabi? Or jicama?

eggs benedict with lox and no english muffin. could even top spinach with poached/lighly fried egg, lox, and hollondaise.
or scrambled eggs with cream cheese or onions and lox and cucumber on the side.
nori with cucumber/avocado and lox or sushi grade salmon.

Hard boiled egg whites...just fill the little hollow with a dab of cream cheese, a bit of lox, and top it off with some capers and finely chopped red onion.

Sectioned celery ribs would make a pretty good vehicle too.

Norimaki, though I'd skip the cream cheese. Replace the rice with thinly sliced daikon.

I like to cut red or yellow bell peppers in half, fill with cream cheese and capers and top with salmon. You could also use endive leaves.

              Divine on endive....nice ever-so-slightly-bitter bite

When my son was in preschool, he hated bread. He liked " lox and cream cheese roll 'em ups".

Or steamed new potatoes, halved and room temp.

I like it on cucumber slices.

Definitely cucumbers. Wrap slices of lox on cucumber spears
