What to do with "scrucchijate"? Italian black grape preserves with gelatin

I was gifted a bottle of imported scrucchijate of black grapes with skin (gelatinous) from Ambruzzo. When I look at the ingredients, I see it is only grapes with skin, sugar and pectin. The jar costed $20 and I am trying to figure out what to do with it. It is very thick and rich and almost paste like.

    If you want to bake, you can make jam sandwich cookies or jam thumbprint cookies with them.

      You can use it by the spoonful to make savory glazes for pork or duck; you can use it as a base for a vinaigrette. Think savory uses as well as sweet.

        but you might want to see how it tastes with cheese. A lot of these fruit conserve products are excellent with cheese.
        Have you tasted it yet?
        there are also online (italian) recipes that suggest putting it in a rich tart crust, mixed with almonds or walnuts. This type of recipe also often includes a bit of citrus rind or liqueur. That sounds good!

        and of course, you can always spread it on bread.

          Thanks; that is the jar, just triple the size! I have yet t o crack the jar open for cooking/baking but will do so for some holiday baking.
