ISO Fun Westside Celebration Dinner

I've been tasked with picking a restaurant for a celebratory dinner with some co-workers on the Westside - I'd love to get some suggestions! The following are the specs:

- Party of 6
- Fun, upbeat ambience - but nice (no Buca di Beppo, for instance)
- Reservations are a must as it will be on a Friday night and we don't want to wait around forever for a table
- Good drinks required
- Great food required
- One person is a vegetarian (but she eats fish)
- No sushi
- Price is not an issue

Report back - my boss ultimately chose Boa, which I never would have even considered - but I have to say, the food was quite good! I had.the petite filet mignon, which was excellent, and we shared a variety of side dishes, including Caesar salad, broccolini, Brussels sprouts, corn, asparagus, mashed potatoes, and Mac and cheese, which ranged from good (Mac and cheese) to excellent (corn).

If the Valley is an option, Cafe 14, Riviera Restaurant, Mastro's would all work.

Great list, but to me Westside refers to west of the 405.... But I know it's highly debatable!
