suggestions/thoughts?
We'll be in Vegas next week (vacation! woohoo!!). Staying at City Center w/ no rental car. Already planning on e and Lotus of Siam. Also considering: Comme Ca's gastropub Monday, DOCG and trying to choose between Holstein's/BLT and American Fish/RM Seafood. Any feedback on those welcome. Also, is Fleur worth the schlep down to MBay? Other on-strip, not-crazy-expensive (we're already blowing up the budget for Jose Andres) suggestions welcome. thanks!

I'd recommend against making a special effort to visit Fleur (actually, I'd recommend against walking downstairs to eat there if you were staying at Mandalay Bay, but that's a different question). I've eaten there twice and was completely underwhelmed on both occasions. There are literally dozens of better choices within walking distance of your City Center location.

Fun...was just there with the party hat on a couple of weeks ago and I have to preface this that you can not eat enough times at Lotus of Siam..we did lunch and I'm an off the menu and DH is buffet.
I would add the 3 course meal at Milos at the Cosmos for $20.12..
Chandelier at the Cosmos for drinks..love this place and having a slice or two at the 'secret pizza' place on the third level..
We did Todd English PUB at happy hour...ok but wish it was bettere.Charlie Palmer's $48 'Cut of the Week'...all the Vegas Chowhounds love this deal.
Breakfast at Bouchon at Venetian is fantastic..
Country Club at the Wynn is lovely.
We stayed at the Trump which we love and happy hour for $ 5 drinks and food is a great deal and a wonderful clubby setting.Have a great vacation!

re: Beach Chick
Has anyone ever been underwhelmed by the choice of cut at the "Cut of the Week" at CP's? Also, how early the choice of cut for that week is posted? Is it posted on the Monday of that week for that week? I am fairly certain that reservations need to be made and was curious about how far in advance would be necessary. Thank you!
