Looking for Restaurants

Going to meet some family in DC this weekend. Looking for a couple of good restaurants that are not overly expensive, but good. No one will want to get dressed up...at least not too much after a long day of walking.
I'd like to find a good Indian restaurant, Italian restaurant, and a good deli all within a 5-10 minute cab ride of the White House/Capital Hill area.
Thanks so much for your suggestions.
The best Indian I've had in town is Masala Art. It's in Tenleytown and is reasonably priced. It might be a little further from the Hill than you'd like, but I think it's worth it.
Mangialardo and Sons is good, so I've heard, but I haven't tried it myself. There are lots of good spots along the H Street corridor that are very easy from Capitol Hill and you could try any of them. Also, 8th Street has tons of good restaurants that you could try. Have fun!
Agree on Masala Art, although it is worth noting that they serve a buffet on weekends (for lunch at least), and the selection is limited. I suspect you can still order off the full menu though. (I really liked the buffet, but it's not everyone's cup of tea.)
I also like Indique up in Cleveland Park
