Looking for a good bread bakery in Milwaukee. i.e., baguettes, french boule, ryes, sourdough. Recommendations? Thanks.
Sciortino's on the lower East Side has very good old world bakery items. They lean far more Italian than French though. Neat neighborhood too.
I really liked Rocket Baby Bakery on North Avenue in Wauwatosa. Their sourdough was delicious and excellent french pastries as well....
I heartily agree; their focus is pretty much pan-European, and not limited to French or Italian.
