Fresh Medjool Dates in an entree?

Any interesting ideas for using fresh medjool dates in an entree? I have a large container and would like to use them in any interesting way. Thank you.

  1. Pit and puree them, incorporate some soy sauce and Sriracha and you have a lovely sauce to pair with pork loin or to jazz up chicken.

That sounds excellent! I'm going to try it this evening. Thank you!

      2. You could use them in a tajine with chicken, lamb, or chickpeas for a vegetarian version.

        1. They're delightful in any braised lamb, pork, or chicken dish where you might use apricots or other dried fruit. Also pitted and chopped in a nice pan sauce to go over chops and duck breasts and such. And they're great for stuffing butterflied tenderloin.
