Shrimp recipes

Hosting a dinner party that includes small children, ravenous college students and some older folks. Few of them are adventurous eaters. As a starter, thinking of pork dumplings, which these kids love. Main dish will be shrimp. Looking for suggestions beyond shrimp scampi. Any recipes recommendations? Thanks in advance!

This is one of my favorites: http://m.epicurious.com/recipes/food/... you could omit the avocado and cilantro or make one batch with and one without. It's really easy and not hot at all.
