Best French & is there Fondue in Vegas

Will be in town next weekend for my mom's birthday. She loves French food, especially Fondue. Any recommendations?

  1. Nobhill in the MGM Grand has a fondue appetizer although I suspect it's not what you're looking for.

    1. Morels in the Palazzo has amazing cheese fondue. We had it with brunch for the first time this past spring after contemplating getting it a bunch of other times we've eaten there- now I can't wait to go back and have it again. I'm not positive that they serve it at lunch and\or dinner also - I think they do but probably best to call ahead just in case.

Everything else at Morels is consistently excellent too- French bistro food- also amazing cheese and charcuterie selections and great raw bar.

      1. There is a chain called Melting Pot that specializes in fondue (savory and dessert), including fixe price dinners that combine both. Here's the menu:

The Las Vegas location is located on Charleston in Summerlin. I can't vouch for its quality.

The Melting Pot is good if you order carefully. My first visit... three fondue courses without alcohol, tax and tip was $120 for 2. Not worth it.

Melting Pot is definetly way overpriced and not that good. We ate there once and actually left hungry after spending about $120.00 (including moderate price wine)

          2. For French, Mon Ami Gabi or Marché Bacchus.

Moral has decent french food. Excellent creme brulee with 3 little cups of vanilla, caramel and pastachio with couple of cookies. Fish was decent and so was the soup.

They do a cheese foundu.. $10 per person with minimum of 2 people.
