Food Grade Lubricant in GTA?

Anyone know where to get food grade lubricant in the GTA? A relative needs some for a grape crushing machine. I have called SB Simpson, Fastenal, and Fluid Line. No luck finding a squeeze tube of it (they could order in spray or grease gun lubricant but in huge multiples.

  1. Would butcher block Conditioner be acceptable? Mine says it's food-grade mineral oil.

I don't know if it would work but I am thinking about using that now because the guy at Nella I talked to said they use that on their slicers/etc...

THey also had another spray lubricant but would prefer something like this :

      Petro Gel it is called:

Wonder if it is available locally
      Thanks for the suggestion though!

Yisf is correct, the commercial food equipment dealers all have it for use on meat slicers, etc.

Or call Hobart and ask if they will sell you some.

or just call up the cash and carry places around Toronto. MVR on weston rd is huge and they sell that kind of stuff.

I know you can order it from Dayco Distributing in Oshawa, or Hendrix in Pickering

    2. Just a follow-up. Even though I called Nella Cutlery (vs. Nella Cucina) and asked them if they had the squeeze bottle type I was looking for (PetroGel) it turns out they actually DID have it in store. My dad went by to pick up some of the spray and ended finding the other one I was looking for.

      Thanks for everyone's feedback.
