Scandinavian in southern CA??
I terribly miss the long-gone Scandia. I also miss the departed Gustav Anders which for many years served excellent Swedish classics in Orange County. I'd love to go somewhere and have some good aquavit and gravlax or herring, or some of the other wonderful classics that these restaurants served. Is there any really good Scandinavian restaurant anywhere in southern CA? (Please don't suggest Pea Soup Andersen's, Solvang, or the Swedish meatballs at IKEA! Marche Moderne does however have pretty good herring in their "Tribute to Gustav Anders" appetizer!)
