Does anyone know the difference between these 2 dishes at Mary Chung?
Yu Hsiang Eggplant vs Spicy Eggplant
I more often order yu hsiang than spicy at Mary Chung, so I can tell you yu shiang eggplant is very garlicky, has the zip of plenty of fresh ginger, includes some shredded pork, and has some decent chili heat. If memory serves, spicy eggplant has a simpler sweet/sour brown sauce with some chili heat (dried red pepper flakes are the common fire additive here).
