Best of luck; I live on the Bourbon Trail and have only found the 23 yr. old twice. Here's the little neighborhood liquor store where I found it: 859-254-8642. I'm not sure what the alcohol shipping laws are here, and they will not be able to tell you if/when they may get some. And they will probably say they can't save or reserve it for you. Very helpful, I know. I have seen it pop up on eBay a few times though. That's probably your best bet.

re: NonnieMuss
eBay recently put an end to booze auctions on their site. I agree though that buying via auction is probably your best chance. It never even makes it to the shelf of the store I go to that gets a small allotment. They are sold to regular customers who are alerted via email and only a small amount of those customers who want a bottle end up getting one. Good luck though.

I didn't know that about the booze auctions. My boss bought a collector bottle of Makers a couple years ago, but it had to be listed as a collectible, and not as a drink. I checked in with my friendly neighborhood liquor store and was laughed at. They did say they usually get it in around the end of October.

It was only in the last month that they changed their policy.
Just saw this news today that the new allotments are hitting the shelves in the next couple of weeks:

Update - My friendly neighborhood liquor store told me yesterday that shipments are running behind this year, and they're expecting it to hit stores the first week of November instead of late October. I'm heading out to buy a tent and warm sleeping bag to stake out the deliveries.
