Sybil's chicken in Jesup?

Anyone that has ever been to Sybil's knows about their sweet tea, chocolate cake and chicken. Well, I can make the first two but not their baked chicken. I moved about an 1 1/2 away and hardly get there anymore. Does anyone know how to make their baked chicken?

Haha, Jesup, GA is the ultimate capital of Southern country cookin' that most people don't even realize, between the lunch buffet at Jones Kitchen and Sybil's. Owner of Sybil's is known to hold her recipes very close to the vest ("if you want to know the secret, you'll have to buy the place") so I doubt anyone has the inside scoop.

That's very true. I wish she would open another location closer to SAV but I doubt she will. I never get to go to Jones' but man do I miss it. A perfect day would be lunch at Jones', supper at Sybil's and the drive in after all that.

I rarely make it to Sybil's because I can't pass up a trip to Jones. Back in the day Suzies was very good also. It was family style not a buffet.
