Help with Tomato Basil Pasta
So my wife had the "Tomato Basil Pasta" minus the chicken at Cheesecake Factory while on vacation... now she told me to re-create it. I didn't really try it and we live over 4 hours from the closest Cheesecake Factory.
So does anyone know what ingredients it uses? What kind of Tomatoes are used? What the Green Basil sauce on top consists of, she said it was like a glaze? What other ingredients are used?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I agree, I think the green basil sauce is similar to a pesto. An easy recipe is to use a blender and to blend together parsley, basil, salt, black pepper, olive oil, shredded parmesan cheese, crushed walnuts.
As for the tomatoes, I think vine ripened tomatoes would work well.
If it was more of a glaze, it could well be a basil sauce which did not have the nuts or cheese since those two make it creamy/opaque.
