J'int on SW corner MoPac and Parmer
This used to be a Mexican restaurant among other things. Now it seems to be a sprawly beer j'int among other things I do not know. I am considering it as a place to meet for cigars and beer. Can someone fill me it as to what kind of a place it is? Thanks, J.

re: TroyTempest
Yes, j'int is the term I used for joint. The apostrophe meaning a letter has been omitted. The word is derived from the way a certain group of folks would speak, in sort of a local dialect in the south. Very similar to the way the word "work" was pronounced as having two syllables, as in "wor- rick". There are others examples of this southen dialect but many I have forgotten and some people will fnd the recollection of this characteristic as offensive, you bet your bottom dollar.

You thinking of this place? http://www.thelooprestaurant.com/
It used to be Thomas Super Buffet
Edit: sorry.. the compass in my head isn't working. Yes, southwest corner of Mopac and Parmer is indeed Weirdos. Been there for quite a while now. A good place if you like bros and UFC.
