Refrigerator Life of Sour Cream Sauce for Chicken Enchiladas?

I made chicken enchiladas one week ago. For the sour cream sauce, I used the stock from a chicken I cooked. I placed the leftover sauce in a plastic container and have kept it in the refrigerator. Would this sauce still be good? I would like to cook with it today so as not to waste it.

Any advice will be much appreciated! Thanks!

I subscribe to the Sam Fujisaka Magic Ktichen line of thinking.

Smell: Does it stink? Is it supposed to stink?
Taste: Funky? Supposed to be funky?
Go for it if you pass those two. (As long as there's no fur growing. Fur's always bad. ;)

I'm more paranoid than Sam was, but if it's been in one, unopened container the whole time - not being opened and closed and used with multiple utensils - I'd say it was OK for a week. Cultured dairy products tend to last forever by themselves, but not so long once you mix them with other liquids.
