Bourbon Chocolate Cupcakes - has anyone made these? Thanks

The recipe calls for a whipped cream/chocolate/coffee (liquer) filling. Wondering if anyone has
made any kind of Chocolate Bourbon Cupcake. Thanks!

i frequently add a shot of bourbon to chocolate batter. just adds depth to the flavor.

I have made a ganache filing using Irish whiskey for Irish Car Bomb cupcakes that use Guinness Stout in the cupcake and Bailey's Irish Cream icing. My own preference would be to not waste the bourbon in the cupcake but rather use it to flavor the ganache or the icing. If I was going that route I would look for a stout aged in a bourbon barrel for the cupcake with bourbon ganache filing and the icing of your choice.

you could also do a glaze over the cooked cupcake. combine melted butter, bourbon, and powdered sugar, brush over cooked cupcakes. I would also put a hint in the icing too.
