I am no expert whatsoever on Vietnamese cuisine, but this place hit the spot tonight. A nice, clean, small room with counter service, good beer and wine selection , and short but sweet menu. We tried the fresh rolls, banh me , and pho. The fresh rolls were indeed fresh with very flavorful shrimp and veggies. The banh me was on very solid crusty French bread with crunchy veggies, pricy at $6.50 for a relatively small sandwich, but it's Marblehead not Ctown. The Pho was probably not the most authentic, no tendon or offal , but again it's Marblehead. The beef was tender, the broth spicy and sour , altogether a welcome surprise to my new neighborhood .
