Late night eats / Downtown recs?

QMTrader Oct 1, 2012 07:13 AM

Hi All,

Will be arriving late on Weds night around 10pm, can anyone make some late night eats recommendations near Downtown? Not a very big fine of a diner fare, perhaps a gastropub of sorts, but open to suggestions...

    Coterie Room or Spur Gastropub.

Capitol Hill, not far from downtown, Cafe Presse! http://cafepresseseattle.com/home/?do.... The cold chicken with homemade aioli may be the best chicken I have ever eaten in the US.

For very late night eats - 13 Coins.

As others have said, 13 Coins and Spur are your best bets. You missed a place called The Night Kitchen by about a year. The Purple Dot, I believe, is still around.

If you go to OpenTable and ask it to show reservations available at 10:30 or 11:00 pm, I think you'll see a fair number of good downtown spots that serve that late.

If you want a quintessential "after midnight" Seattle experience, I'd second 13 Coins.

Late happy hour at Il Bistro, under the Pike Place Market

Follow the stairs down right by rachel the pig, in the center corner of main market. The have great cocktails, nice atmosphere - lots of old wood, mirrors, etc, and small plates.

Or late happy hour at Lecosho (on the Harbor Steps) - get the clams with chorizo or the porchetta sandwich!

Anybody been to Hing Loon Seafood Restaurant in Chinatown lately?
                  It's a trip.
