Fort Worth options for a non-meat eater

I will be visiting family soon in Fort Worth and would appreciate recommendations for places that have options for someone who does not eat meat (seafood is ok however). Because everyone else does eat meat, I do not necessarily want only "vegetarian" restaurants although I welcome all suggestions. Thanks so much. I am really looking forward to visiting your state - I live in the Pacific Northwest.

  1. Suggest Terra Mediterranean's buffet ... it makes everyone happy.

They are not really to my taste, but all of the Brazilian places have tons of meat and a great salad bar, and I believe all steak places also have lobster.

Babe's is good and a crowd-pleaser, and I believe they have catfish (check the menu for your particular destination as they vary slightly).

    1. If I was ever going to become a vegetarian I would make Indian food my go to choice of cuisine. Its so flavorful and exciting to the taste buds it doesn't matter if there is meat or not. India has one of the biggest population of vegetarians so its no wonder they have mastered the no meat cuisine.

Paneer curry, veggie curry, egg curry, okra curry, fish curry, shrimp curry, ect. Also anyone of these can be turned into a biryani (spiced rice dish) easily.

They also have vegetable samosas filled with potatoes, peas and spices. They are VERY good, but make sure you get the mint chutney to dip them in.

Did I mention fresh naan and daal?? Omg this stuff I could live on!

Here are a few options in the Ft Worth area....

      Bombay Grill -

This one is a "hole in the wall" place but I really do think they have the best biryani in DFW. Very good chicken curry, daal, samosas, and naan. Also try the "sana special" or fish curry.
