looking for the best calamari in baltimore

I'm on a quest to find the best in the city. So far Sullivans steakhouse is the best I've had. At 15 bucks its not cheap, but its amazing. If anyone has another place that serves top notch calamari, I'd love to hear. Thanks!

Ikaro's on Eastern Ave, haven't been to the new location...but the old spot was my go to for calamari...(with the roasted potatoes and green beans with tomato)

Went about a month ago and was very disappointed and will not be going back. Used to love Ikaros. The food at Ikaros no longer can hold a candle to that at Samos.

Grilled calamari at Samos is very good.

not a calamari person at all but love the fried calamari at Mamas on the Half Shell.

Calimari is not on of my "must order dishes," so I cannot really comment on it compared to other places, but the calamari salad at Blue Hill Tavern has been my favorite dish of the meal on both visits -- Calamari Salad - Cornmeal crusted, mixed greens, peanuts, cilantro, chili-lime vinaigrette

I'm one of the few that is not a huge fan of Cinghiale. HOWEVER, the best calamari I've had was prepared there. It was grilled, had a delectable light herb sauce, and was so tender.

The wood-grilled octopus at Zorba's in Greektown is fantastic.
