Atl to cumming

On Monday I fly into atl then drive north to cumming on 400 and need a dinner recommendation please.

dont know if youre here yet--we are under a tornado warning till 9 and traffic is a bear--if you dont need to be in Cumming tonigt id find an airport hotel tonight and get on the road before 7--id take 285 East to 400--traffic in AM from south tends to back up into the city--good luck bob

Thanks for the help - I ended up sitting in traffic jams for about an hour dodging wrecks in the right lane, left lane, and middle lane on 85 in the pouring rain. Went straight thru, but have to go back to airport on Sat. so BBQ looks like an awsome option.

Ok heres Gu's directions Gus is open late on Mondays--ill check BBQ hrs for you. The BBQ is probably a 10 minute run from 285---Gu's is like 3 minutes..If you get BBQ get hush puppies with SC sauce--Bill the owner will be there tonight I think.Both are casual spots,youll eb out of there in 45 Minutes--there are tons of more formal spots on youre way to Cumming have good eats bob

I arrive at 6:30 pm - so could stay in south Atlanta, maybe....

You should be good at that time. If you wait till am you'll hit the morning rush. Di you need to eat in cumming. If you like Chinese I'd send you to Gu's bistro. It's
on buford highway. Just off 285. It's a casual spot with great food. From there to cumming would be 25minutes. Let us know if you want more ideaso BTW its a szechuan place

Are they open Monday nights? Suprising to say some Chinese joints are not. This morning (last minute before I get on the plane) I'm wondering about BBQ/soul food. Any other ideas (plus directions, please).
