The Westchester location is keeping the name Alejo's.
I heard nothing else is changing -- not the management, not the menu. Just the name.
Went there last night. The food was good - maybe better than before. The prices were a little higher but atill reasonable. No atmosphere but if you are in the mood for basic, tasty, garlicky Italian this is a good place to go.
Don't really care what the name on the sign is, this place can be summed up by their unofficial name, "Garlic City"
This blurb http://losangeles.grubstreet.com/2012... says that there was a "contractual snag" with the Westchester location (whatever that means).
