Lagostina Academy 5ply copper or Paderno Fusion5

I am looking to replace my cookware with a new set. I'm starting fresh and so have decided to buy a set. I am looking to spend about $300, but am willing to go up to $400. I'd like clad cookware, and if it had a copper core it would be a bonus. It's not clear to me if the Lagostina is clad or not.

I've narrowed it down to the following two sets and would love some feedback about which I should go for:

I'm not sure if you're interested in other brands, but Rue La La is currently having a cookware sale.

    Cuisinart Tri-ply Stainless Steel 12pc - $240
    Cuisinart 14pc SS - $166
    Cuisinart chef's classic 10 piece: $120

Culinary Institute "Masters" 10pc Copper Core Cookware Set - $400

They also have other cuisinart, batali, rachel ray, etc.

It's a huge sale. I got my sets a couple years back at 1/2 off the current price.

Rue la la is invite only. I can send you an invite if u pm your email addy to me.

Have you seen either one in person? For a purchase like this, I would really want to see a few pans in person before I spent my money.
