Usually have gone to Bella Cera but it is now closed.
Anything around Broad to 15th & Spruce area?

I like Mercato around there, La Viola and Girasole are also nearby but Mercato is better than either. Branzino is near there too, I've never been there.

A little further away, and on the other side of Broad but Amis and Georgio on Pine are both decent restaurants. Girasole is also there, but I have not dined there.

We like Branzino. It's on 17th very close to Spruce, a short walk. It's on our rotation for before concerts at the Kimmel Center.
Girasole is good but pricey. If you do an appetizer and a pasta, it's not bad.
La Viola and La Viola West are decent but very noisy and hectic.
Amis - excellent food, very noisy. Haven't been to Mercato for a while; remember it as very good but very crowded.

          Youze guys are the best.

I have been to Branzino and loved it so I tried there first but they are booked.

Mercato looked a wee bit too noisy for my taste and farther to walk, leaving me with Girasole where I have never been.

So Girasole it is and very close to Kimmel Center.

          Thanks all.

          :-)

PS. Whoa! After reading some really bad reviews on TA I decided to try phoning Branzino instead of doing it through Open Table and, guess what! I got my reservation at 6 pm that way.
          Now I am happy!
