Dinner around Yonge & Front

Looking for a good place to eat for 2 on a Thurs night that's walking distance to Yonge & Front. Price isn't a big limitation, just want it to have a fun atmosphere and great food. Thinking about Trevor (it's also on diningdatenight.com), Lucien (though I've read some bad things recently) or Bravi. I'd prefer to stay away from corporate-type places like Vertical. Appreciate any suggestions.

I like Biff's and Swish. Even thoug Biff's is owned by a corporation, I find the bistro atmosphere fairly warm, and not too "corporate" at night, when the crowd is more mixed.
Bravi is over-priced, portions are small and food is so-so.
    Beerbistro is decent.

Has anyone been to the Tex Mex place that has replaced Hernando's Hideway?

Wine Bar has slipped. I've been maybe 5 times since Vivian left, and it's gotten worse each time, unfortunately. The last time I was there, in the late spring, I decided I wouldn't bother with it anymore.

Oh that's sad about Wine Bar. Thanks for the update!

Thanks for the suggestions. Swish By Han looks like a great possibility and I hadn't considered it. Will likely give that a try.

i haven't been to the 3 restaurants you mentioned in years...haven't heard much about them.
i'll second swish by han for fun & yum.
everything else that comes to mind would definitely have a 'corporate' crowd. especially on a thursday night...o & b, ki, blowfish, beerbistro.

I haven't been in a couple of years, but Wine Bar at 9 Church St. used to be pretty reliable.

Colbourne Lane is a unique experience

Swish By Han has a good atmosphere, recent reviews seem mixed, esp the service

Garbadine is a great place, a little more of a walk

I am not sure about "fun atmosphere" and not even sure about the food, but, I have had catered food at various event's from Paganellis (http://www.paganellis.com/) and really enjoyed it.

Biff's Bistro is pretty decent too but maybe that falls into the "corporate type" based on ownership?
