TVP "shreds"?

MikeG Sep 25, 2012 02:34 PM

I came across a recipe ( http://veganann.com/blog/shredded-soy... ) that calls for "dried soy protein shreds", but I've never seen such a thing in stores and Google pretty much brings up that recipe and little else. I can get the pellets/nuggets, it's a longer version like this that I've never seen.

Has anyone seen or heard of such a product? Know of a possible source? I know fully hydrated shredded faux meat is available, but I'm wondering specifically about this dehydrated stuff.

I think they are talking about Soy Curls: http://www.butlerfoods.com/ I pick them up at my local vegan grocery shop but Amazon or Vegan Essentials probably sell them.
